Clinic Protocols



Kim Howden Registered Massage Therapy remains committed to offering a safe, professional environment for both client and practitioner.

The clinic follows directives outlined by: MTAA, CMTBC, RMTBC, AHS, Alberta's & British Columbia's Provincial Health Officers.


Please note the following protocols are currently in place at the clinic:

  • Masking is optional at this time for both the practitioner and client. If the client's preference is for the practitioner to mask, this request will be respected. If the client wishes to mask, they can either bring their own mask or a mask will be provided.

  • PRE-SCREENING: Clients are asked to please complete an online Communicable Disease Symptom Survey 36 hours prior to appointment time (it will arrive in your inbox). If you answer “YES” TO ANY of the survey questions, please stay home and contact the clinic at: 778-870-8520 or via email: to cancel your appointment. We will reschedule your appointment with no cancellation fee.

  • We ask that you please do not come to the clinic if you are experiencing any cold, flu or Covid-19-like symptoms, even if mild.

  • Enhanced cleaning & sanitizing practices are in place.

Clinic Policies

Cancellation Policy


Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full appointment fee.

Cancellation fee will not apply if:

1) the client misses an appointment due to experiencing Covid-19, cold, flu or respiratory illness related signs or symptoms as documented in their completed online Mandatory Symptom Survey.

2) it is determined by both RMT and client that the risk of treatment outweighs the benefit at this time.

How to Cancel an Appointment:

You can cancel your appointment any of the following ways:

1. Cancel online through your booking profile. (preferred).
